Founder, builder, and seller of three entities in the Southeastern United States who teaches self-employment in semi-retirement. Combines the unique perspective of “real-world” experience with a MBA in entrepreneurship. An expert on the characteristics and motivation of successful entrepreneurs, Clint challenges students through entertaining stories, innovative thinking, and leadership motivation. From new venture formation to buying an existing business, his instruction provides all the nuts and bolts needed to build an independent business.
A Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and life member of California Scholarship Federation, Clint is a graduate of University of California, Eckerd College, and Salve Regina University. He is the past President of the Atlanta Chapter of the AAII, American Association of Individual Investors. AAII is a non-profit organization based in Chicago, IL with 150,000 members whose purpose is to assist individuals become effective managers of their own assets. A former U. S. Army Captain, Clint was awarded the Bronze Star metal for service in Vietnam.
His management experience includes responsibility for commercial property, casualty, surety, and group benefits departments in national brokerages. He was the principal in three start-up businesses in Florida and Georgia which grew to a combined thirty five million dollars in sales. His career emphasized creativity, self-reliance, and adaptability and focused on niche opportunities, product innovation, and customer service. An authority in time management, business units, and attainable goals, Clint has helped many realize their dreams.
